Lou Irina Sanchez, APCC
APCC 17153
I received my master’s degree in Child and Family Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood Mental Health, training through a trauma-informed, neurorelational lens. Throughout my clinical training, I have deepened my commitment to community care by supporting the social-emotional well-being and development of our youth and families across a variety of settings, including community mental health clinics, grief support programs, and school-based services, where I provided individual and family therapy as well as infant and early childhood mental health classroom consultation.
I am certified in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and am currently completing the rostering process. Grounded in a relational and compassionate approach, I draw from attachment-focused, strengths-based, and evidence-informed practices to support emotional growth, strengthen connections (with oneself and others), and nurture healthy relationships. I also incorporate play-based and expressive therapies to support children and teens in exploring their emotions, experiences, and relationships in ways that feel natural, meaningful, and developmentally appropriate.
We are not meant to navigate the journey of our humanness alone. We are wired for connection, belonging, and mutual care. It is one of the greatest honors to connect in a therapeutic space through this shared experience of being human.
